Reese’s Visit from the Easter Bunny

Hiya Readers!

It was our first Easter in our new home, so we couldn’t wait for the Easter Bunny to visit us and hide all of his sugary treats around our home. The past few years, my family has been in small apartments, so the hunt for Easter eggs was easy for our kids. This year, the Easter Bunny had three floors to leave presents for our kids, so we hoped it would be more fun and challenging for them!

I swear I closed my eyes for only a moment only to find pastel egg capsules all over our home! They were up high for our eldest, and in lower places for our younger two.

It took our little ones a while to find this one!

We even found some eggs in some funny and unusual places!

The Easter Bunny sure has a sense of humour!

The Easter Bunny even left a basket of treats for our kids on our dining table since they were too big and bulky to hide.

The chocolate tool set was my favourite of the three!

When our kids awoke on Easter morning, our younger daughter came downstairs with two eggs in her hands! Once our other two kids heard all of the commotion, they sprang out of their beds so they didn’t miss out on all of the Easter egg hunting fun.

Many breaks were taken as the kids became distracted by all of the chocolate and candy they were finding and eating along the way.

As you can see, our little guy couldn't wait to devour his new found loot!

Overall, this year’s visit from the Easter Bunny was a success! By now, most of the eggs have been found (our eldest found two yesterday evening, and I think one or two are still floating around our house), and wave of sugar shock has come and gone, for now anyway! Hopefully, the Easter Bunny will be able to extend his hunt outside as it was too wet in our front and backyards for our kids to hunt for them there. Maybe I’ll even get a picture of the big guy next year…

Until my next post, Readers!

Reese

I remember the first year my mother hid all our easter chocolates, we could barely find anything, she eventually had to tell us where everything was; mom never hid the chocolate again.

Thanks for commenting Catherine! My mom didn’t hide our treats, either. Hopefully you got some Easter treats another way!

I love all the pics and captions. Looks like the kids had a great time. I used to spend out making up rhyming clues leading to the next clue leading to the easter stash. I would make them go up and down all the stairs for each clue. Lol

That’s an amazing idea, Cathy! My sister does that for my nieces and nephews, too. When the little ones are older we were thinking of of doing that, too! Thanks for the comment, Cathy! 🙂
